Sales Manager, United Kingdom and Northern Europe

Reports To: General Manager, EMEA Sales
FLSA status: Exempt
Primary Responsibilities:
- Focused sales and revenue growth in the region with an emphasis on new customer acquisition
- Exceed quarterly and annual quota and business objectives
- Identify and assess customer needs through consultative and solution selling best practices
- Clearly communicate the company’s value proposition
- Manage and prioritize growth opportunities
- Manage and build an aggressive funnel of new opportunities to support revenue goals
- Accurately forecast on a quarterly basis
Key Requirements, Skills, and Experience:
- 5+ years experience in software sales, preferably in the pay-media/pay-TV market
- Overachieving quota for a minimum of 5 years
- Experience and demonstrated success in acquisition sales
- BA/BS degree preferred, MBA degree plus
- Aggressive self starter with a demonstrated ability to work in a start up environment and to generate quota and above quota performance
- Ability to function as a sales team member as well as the demonstrated ability to independently achieve sales goals
- Demonstrated ability to exceed defined objectives
- Proven success in establishing relationships with CXO level buyers
- Exceptional presentation, analytical and negotiating skills
- Experience in working with other technology partners sales organizations to maximize information transfer and sales results
- Motivated, flexible individual capable of taking complete ownership of solution sale
Interfaces:
- Interfaces with the Senior Vice President of Global Sales and other Pre-Sales support staff, Customer Support staff, Product Marketing and other company departments as required
Knowledge Requirements:
- Knowledge and working experience in the Pay-TV arena (Telco, cable and satellite Pay TV) or related industries
- Knowledge of and IPTV and related technologies, including secure access and content protection solutions
- Comfortable using a PC/Laptop and knowledgeable using PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
Working Conditions:
- Ability to travel up to 50 - 60% of the time including international destinations, typically by automobile, train, and/or flying on a passenger airplane
