Widevine Technologies Opens New Office In "Capital of Media World" - Burbank, California
New Business and Product Development Office Targets Streaming Media Security for Entertainment and Enterprise Customers
Burbank, CA, January 24, 2001 – Widevine Technologies has opened a new business and product development office in Burbank, California, the "Capital of the Media World," the company announced today.

Two Widevine Technologies executives are based in the new Burbank office:
- Nigel Toates, Vice President, Business Development, heads product sales initiatives to existing and prospective clients in the entertainment and content delivery industries. Based in Los Angeles, Toates has worked in the digital technology industry for more than fifteen years. Prior to joining Widevine, Toates served as Vice President of Operations for North and South America for AMS Neve, the world's leading manufacturer of digital and analog audio mixing systems. Toates has a background in electrical engineering.
- Reza Rassool, Chief Engineer. Rassool brings more than fifteen years of experience in project management and engineering in audio and video systems to his role as the coordinator of the engineering groups at Widevine. Previously, he served as chief engineer of AV editing products at Micropolis/Streamlogic later moving to a private consultancy where he managed projects for Tribune Broadcasting and Chyron Corporation.
