Network Appliance and Widevine Technologies Collaborate to Provide Streaming Security for Enterprises

(NASDAQ:NTAP), the leading provider of network-attached data access and content delivery solutions, and Widevine Technologies, Inc. announced today that they are working together to offer secure streaming media solutions for enterprise content delivery networks (CDNs). Today's enterprises require solutions that enable them to scale their IT infrastructures to meet increasing demands without additional resource allocation and with the lowest total cost of ownership. This collaborative solution offers enterprises using streaming media solutions for enterprise CDN applications (such as eLearning, corporate communications, and online training) to deliver of those services safely by utilizing shared encryption across networks such as the Internet.
