MODE Media to Market Widevine Cypher™ in Europe

Seattle, WA, April 25, 2001 – In a deal that promises to address the growing communications security demands of corporations and entertainment companies broadcasting on the Internet, MODE Media announced today that the company will market Widevine Cypher™ in Europe and elsewhere.

The only powerful "encryption on the fly"™ technology of its kind, Widevine Cypher is a product of Widevine Technologies, which markets the product in North America and across the globe. Resulting from the joint marketing and sales agreement announced today, the two companies are providing Widevine Cypher to current and prospective clients of MODE Media in Europe and elsewhere. The two companies are collaborating to educate corporations and entertainment companies on the need for higher levels of security for proprietary, valuable, and secret content being broadcast on the Internet. In addition, as clients demand unique communications security solutions, the two companies will collaborate on solutions for these circumstances.
