New Vice President of Engineering, Glenn Morten, Joins Widevine Technologies
Morten's Engineering Management and Product Development Expertise Promises to Enhance Efforts of Widevine's World-Class Development Team
Seattle, WA, July 16, 2001 – Widevine Technologies announced today that Glenn Morten has joined the company, serving as the Vice President of Engineering. An experienced software engineer and manager of teams of engineers, Morten is responsible for managing the product development initiatives at Widevine.

Prior to joining Widevine, Morten served as Vice President, Product Development for CyberSafe Corporation. He has served in a number of management, product development and product support roles at companies including Spacelabs Medical, Inc., Abbott Diagnostics Division, Texas Instruments, and for the U.S. Army. Morten holds a masters of science in systems management from the University of Southern California, and a computer science degree from West Virginia University. Morten also serves on the board of directors for local software consulting firm, i-Codesmith.
Morten is charged with managing developers focused on Widevine Cypher, Widevine Mensor and other products of Widevine Technologies that are yet to be publicly revealed.
