San Francisco, CA & Seattle, WA, October 30, 2001 – nCUBE Corporation™ and Widevine Technologies™ today announced an agreement to offer "encryption on the fly" ™ streaming media security solutions to broadband service operators. Integrating nCUBE's n4 Streaming Media Appliance with Widevine's Widevine Cypher ™ and Widevine VOD™ solutions, the companies will provide broadband service operators, media companies and entertainment companies a secure means for deploying digital content on-demand to consumer devices such as the personal computer and television set-top box.
