Widevine® Showcases Content Protection Innovations at IPTV World Forum, London
Widevine increases operators’ flexibility to offer high-definition consumer electronics devices from retail stores; partners with leading video processor manufacturers
Seattle, WA, Feb. 27, 2006—Widevine® Technologies, the most deployed provider of comprehensive downloadable content protection and digital forensics for video operators, will showcase content protection innovations at IPTV World Forum, London, 6th-8th March.
Exhibiting in Booth 60, Widevine will feature its entry into the HD-DVD and Blu-ray high-definition content protection market, its partnerships with leading consumer device video processor manufacturers and the newly announced application level encryption which enables operators to reduce capital and operational expenditures.
Also at the IPTV World Forum:
- Matt Cannard, Widevine’s vice president of marketing, will speak on the role of content protection in IP video delivery, highlighting European operator deployment successes, on Tuesday, 7th March.
- Dom Stasi, TVN Entertainment’s chief technology officer will highlight Widevine Mensor™ watermarking technology in his presentation, “Digital Watermarking: Increased Peace of Mind,” on Wednesday, 8th March.
- Magnet Networks and Industria will showcase Widevine Cypher content protection as part of its demonstration in the IPTV operator showcase.
- Widevine will highlight its integration with a range of video products including set-top boxes, middleware platforms and video servers including systems from leading technology partners Amino, Entone, Kreatel, Thomson, Wegener, i3, Motorola, Sigma Designs and TVN.
