Widevine® to Speak on Content Protection at Digital Hollywood
Seattle, Wash., Oct. 23, 2006 –Widevine Technologies, the world’s leading provider of downloadable content protection, forensic watermarking and digital copy protection solutions, today announced that Reza Rassool, Chief Engineer, will be a featured speaker at Digital Hollywood Fall, on the topic of protecting intellectual property of content delivered in the cross-platform environment of cable, broadband and mobile.
The panel, Protecting Your Intellectual Property - The Policies and Technologies for Managing Risk, is scheduled Thursday, Oct. 26 at 9:30 a.m., Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, in Santa Monica, CA.
Since 1999 Rasool has led advanced engineering at Widevine. He is a pioneer in development of audio video products ranging from non-linear editors to bionic eyes and has contributed to some of the most exciting product developments in the field of digital media. Previously he was the technical manager and one of the original designers of the Lightworks NLE and held positions at GEC, RGB Computer Graphics, The Computer Film Company and Crosfield Electronics. He holds patents, has published numerous papers and is active in several industry trade associations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in physics from King’s College.
