Widevine® and Minerva Networks Extend Integrated Solution to IP Video Operators

Seamless integration improves usability and premium content acquisition for linear broadcast and VOD deployments


Seattle, Wash., Nov. 1, 2006 –Widevine Technologies, the world’s leading provider of downloadable content protection, forensic watermarking and digital copy protection solutions, today announced that Minerva Networks and Widevine have extended the level of integration of their respective platforms to deliver improved IP video solutions to IPTV operators.

Minerva Networks’ iTVManager, an open, flexible IPTV services management platform, offers a complete set top box client application, middleware and service management tools for delivering compelling and profitable services to video operators of all sizes. Widevine’s Cypher®, a downloadable conditional access, digital rights management and digital copy protection suite, enables any IP video operator to acquire and securely distribute premium multimedia from major Hollywood studios and broadcasters.
