Content protection for mobile video delivery

Cypher Mobile extends Widevine Cypher to protect content delivered over a mobile network. A single Widevine system can protect both mobile and fixed-line video deployments. Since operators can use an existing Cypher solution to protect both traditional and mobile video deployments, is saves them the cost of deploying separate systems and streamlining head-end video preparation for multiple networks.

Cypher Mobile’s selective encryption makes it possible to distribute over any of the major mobile broadcast-based standards including FLO, DVB-H, T-DMB, S-DMB, ISDB-T and OMA, while offering the optional ability to secure push/pull VOD.
